I quit making resolutions a long time ago. It's just wishful thinking and doesn't amount to a hill of beans unless you seriously act on it. Very few of us are willing to change our habits just to start a new year. If you think it's fun...go ahead but I'll get up tomorrow morning and be the same person I am right now. No changes are planned.

I'm so glad Lake Charles decided against their stupid fire works! For once I may be able to get some SLEEP! I realize the city of Lake Charles doesn't have to work on days that end in Y, but I have a job that demands me to be up early and doesn't recognize childish holidays.
