President Obama addressed the nation tonight on Libya to reassure Americans and the world that the U.S. is committed to pulling out of the conflict soon. The President also used the opportunity to defend his initial decision to get involved by saying the international military operation was necessary to prevent "a campaign of killing" by Moammar Gadhafi. And he says it saved countless lives. The President says a transition to NATO on Wednesday will reduce U.S. military risk, and taxpayer cost significantly. What's your reaction to the President's speech? Do you feel the U.S. will be able to successfully transfer the leadership role in the conflict to NATO?
Strange how the U.S. got involved to prevent a campaign of killing. They never got involved before.

obama has all the help he needs to get out of Libya in a timely manner. He should go with his advisors and get out ASAP. Obama should be spending his time balancing the budget. Obama, Nancy and Harry continue to bring the country to it's knees, with Libya, Japan, and other distractions keeping Americans from the real crisis for Americans, that being the economy. Bring back oil off shore drilling, revise health care, preferably eliminate health care passed last year, and lets face up to our real problem, the liberal spenders.

Was Omar a threat to the USA ? No niether was Sadam. Was Omar killing his people? Yes he was and so was Sadam. Did Omar kill 1000's of his own citizens. Yes and Sadam killed 100,000's of his people. This moron president we have thinks it was O K to go into Lybia and not Iraq. I would bet a million bucks if Obama was still a senator he would be a no vote on this war. He is weak and I will say it again. This guy has never even ran a circle K store. He was a community organizer. A sh*t stirrer. I also haven't heard much on Obama giving deep water drilling permitts to Brazil off our coast at the same time holding us back. Obama is a JOKE.

What part of his campaign slogan, "CHANGE", do you not understand.
It seems to me the American voter would have a good understanding of what he meant by "CHANGE".

I am surprised he even made a decision to involve the U S, in the first place. All the critizism he had for President G W Bush's handling of Iraq and Afghanistan. Now he involves us in Libya.
His address to the Nation: I was amazed he sounded like a leader for a change.
I don't have much faith of the action doing the people of Libya much good in the long run. I do applaude the Coalition in coming to the aid of the people of Libya.

Found it funny he had to have his speech at 630 because abc wouldnt give up air time during dancing with the stars

So we have Gitmo, a bad economy, a war involving American troops, millions of people with no health insurance. All under Hussein. Isn't this the same thing these people were complaining about Bush? The more things "CHANGE", the more they stay the same, I guess.

Heck, I say DA GARDNER for president, not mayor. He couldn't possibly do any worse than what we have. Shoot, I don't think anyone could do worse. This "MAN" is 1 and done .
Posted by: Hahaha | March 29, 2011 at 07:49 AM
If we are going to meddle in Libya's affairs, than we might as well jump on into Syria, and more importantly a regime change in Iraq. Heck why not get Saudi to join us take over the whole middle east in the name of democracy, then make them all voters this way Obama can win again in 2012, because it's the only way I see him in a second term.
Do not get me wrong I love the whole support the man that does not won't to work for a living thing after all that's is whole life story.
Thank you I would make a great President, but why do you think I would do worse. Why not think I will do OUTSTANDING never judge a book until you have read it my friend.

Its easier to criticize when you are not in government...once in,reality sets in,and the promises go off the door.
As with redistricting , you will have the same people claiming that the Obama Administration can do no wrong and that whatever is done is for the sake of the American people , human rights and world peace....

No offense my bruther from another mother. I say u could no worse. I think u would probably do a great job. I don't believe u would be outstanding though. You know, all the honeys u can handle, all the free 40's u could drink , and having to stop everything to catch opera. Just to many distractions to do an "outstanding" job .

They told me that if I voted for McCain, we'd end up fighting somewhere.
I voted for McCain. And here we are, fighting with Libya.
Posted by: Elohssa | March 29, 2011 at 12:01 PM
HAHA--- You have my back, I did not consider the Kennedy, Clinton side of the house, all those honeys to pick from, heck I would feel like Hugh Hefner and I could do my press conference with a 40 sitting on the podium...I could also have the Gardner Girls standing behind me doing the raise the roof sign when I make a bold statement...
Now as for the opera, that would have to go rather watch me some deadskins football.

JAPAN needs our help, their not our enemy, but I do agree 100% with everything else you said.
Japan is a great Country and they would do the same for us. Do you know how much money we owe Japan. They have helped us out more than China has.

When has China ever help the US. Only an Idiot would ever consider a statement like that. Open your eyes - Open your ears - Open your mind. When clarity strikes the sleeping sheep, it may be too late to save our great country.
