U.S. led attacks continue in Libya, but Moammar Khaddafy is not backing down. President Obama says the U.S. will soon give up leadership of the allied assault. In Washington, critics in both political parties are demanding to know the Obama exit plan. Last week, Libyan rebels looked doomed. But thanks to American F-15 pilots, British pilots, and the French, the Libyan rebels in the eastern stronghold of Benghazi have new hope. But President Obama promised Monday that the allied forces will not be led by the U.S. for long. There's been no formal debate or vote on Libya. But both Democrats and Republicans are expressing concern about U.S. involvement in yet another war. Should the President limit the U.S. role in the Libyan conflict, and turn over more responsibility to other allied countries?
Why Libya and not Iran,Syria or North Korea ?....because Libya is a softer target than the other 3 and the President is weak & undecisive.....

Why not send in a few top notch specialist such as Navy Seals, or the best snipers and just take Khaddafy out. It may not take very long to do a great job of cleaning up the source of this mess.

This is a misuse of the U.S. military. How can the U.S. decide to bomb a govt who is attempting to prevent it's established govt from being overthrown. Those "Civilians" are rebels who have taken up machine guns, surface to air missles, and even tanks against it's govt in an attempt to over throw it's govt. What is the govt of Libya to do? What would be the U.S. presidents response to the same type of force brought against? I'm no supporter of the Libyan govt. but an established govt has the right to defend oneself against such disorder. We have no business in Libya.

We should not be in any foreign country unless we are specifically asked by that country's government. Oil has not decreased once cent so why are we there heck it has gone up, up, up. So bring the troops home NOW. Or take over all the oil fields and lower the need for us to buy foreign oil, because we would own it all.

The people i feel sorriest for are all the fist pumpin' t-shirt wearin' supporters of the great Messiah, Obama! Funny how you don't see the "Hope n' Change" slogans flying around anymore. It used to "Bush's fault"..... and now.... even the pitiful POTUS has turned on his very own brood. Every bit of snarled anti-war soap boxes that he and his Pelosi-led pussycats ranted on during their election campaign lies has now made a nice landing in their laps just like the F-15 that crashed last night. IMPEACH THE IDIOT

seems like he is doing exactly what bush did back in 2002. take over a country that is under power of a evil human. Is Qaddafi or Khaddafy or kadafi? I have seen his name spelled a few different ways
