Break up the McNeese Diamond Cowboys!!! After dropping 2-of-3 at Texas-Arlington over the weekend, the Pokes staged an impressive late rally to beat Louisiana Lafayette in extra innings on Tuesday. Then tonight, the Cowboys dominated first place Stephen F. Austin 7-3 at Cowboy Diamond. The Pokes got a great performance from starting pitcher Phil Parcell as well as a 3-hit night from Nick Eubanks. The victory keeps the Cowboys' hopes for getting back in the Southland Conference pennant race alive. Game 2 is tomorrow night back at Cowboy Diamond. First pitch is at 6:30 pm. KPLC-TV will have pre-game coverage as well as highlights on 7 News at Six and 7 News Nightcast.
