Young Alum

I am Miss Sam Gannon's bff and her partner in crime for this final four fiesta; my name is Bre and a fellow UCONN alum.

Words cannot explain the amazing atmosphere that surrounds this event and how it is even better being an alum. I have to say the travel crowd for the Huskies is scarce and it makes me wonder where are all the fans for this epic tournament?? I believe in having everlasting school pride which is why I have road tripped to support the Huskies for the post season appearances for basketball and football; I love being a Husky!

Props to the UCONN basketball team for playing a hard fought game in a stadium plagued with swarms of Kentucty fans (those fans know how to travel). So, to those of you who have hated on the Big East in general let me give a shout out to the Huskies to marching into the National Championship on Monday night against Butler; a Big East school represents in the biggest game of the tournament and well played to get there.

Big east represent!

Putting one school in the championship game doesn't make up for the fact that there were way too many Big East teams in the tournament and that the conference as a whole is overrated. I will give credit to UCONN, they have really banged the boards thus far. However, I believe that board banging ends tonight and the Big East will suffer the humiliation of losing the title game to a mid-major school.

Pitmaster, I would have to agree. My guess is that after they lose, they will formally change their conference name to the Big Least, and then perhaps make their own Final Four tournament filled with the 64 teams that they currently have in their conference.
