As we move into the ten o'clock hour this Wednesday evening, we continue to remain under a tornado watch until 3:Am, with the exception of Vernon parish which will remain under the tornado watch until 1:00am. We are under the gun with storms right now, which contain very dangerous cloud to ground lightning, strong winds, and the potential for large hail. There are numerous severe storms along the line which is moving from the northwest to the southeast at 30-40mph. Be ready to take immediate action, these storms are packing quite a punch. Once the storm passes, if you have any reports of weather damage, e-mail them to news@kplctv.comor call the newsroom at 337-437-7568. We are in Moss Bluff and live in a trailer. There are gusts of winds that have shaken the trailer. We are keeping an eye out.
