So far we have had 3 tropical systems but we are now approaching the most active part of hurricane season. That means we will likely see more tropical systems developing over the next few weeks. As of right now there are no threats to the United States but it is a reminder that if you do not have a plan in place now is the time to do that. You don’t want to wait until something is actually threatening to decide what you will do and where you would go. But once again to make myself clear there is no chance of something threatening us here in Southwest Louisiana over the next few days; this is just a friendly reminder!
Now with that said we are watching a few tropical systems at this time I have outlined them on this wide view of the satellite across the entire Atlantic Ocean.
First and foremost is Tropical Storm Cindy which is not likely to stick around much longer as she is quickly moving over much cooler water. Next up are a few tropical waves which are indicated by the black dashed lines. The closest one to us is near the Yucatan of Mexico; this system will not develop into a tropical system.
My attention is on the tropical wave out near the Lesser Antilles which is looking stronger as of this afternoon.
But looking at it up close with the satellite I do not see an organized area of low pressure at this time. The water temperatures across the region are quite warm and the upper level winds may allow this to develop some over the next few days.
Some of the computer models are already showing the possibility of development; and as you can see from the tracks it may be something we have to watch.
But let me say this now, we do not need to worry about this until it actually develops. The computer models do not have a lot of skill in forecasting tropical systems before they actually develop. I would not be surprised to see this become a tropical depression or tropical storm sometime over the weekend.
Count on us here at KPLC to keep you posted on all things tropical throughout the 2011 Hurricane Season. And anything presented here is for informational value only it does not mean that I think this poses a chance of threatening us soon. Have a great weekend…
Now we have a great walkway that goes to the beach and to the canals that came from the partnership of community with government

Je serais intéressé à entendre. Les TOS semble assez clair que ce n'est pas sans l'autorisation expresse par Amazon. Je suppose que si la bibliothèque, il a obtenu, par écrit, alors ils seraient ok.
